Our client is a design-build construction firm with roughly 60 years of history serving New England, one of the earliest firms in the region to champion the design-build model back in the mid-1970s. Because they keep architectural design fully in-house alongside preconstruction, construction management, and procurement, they can carry a project from first sketch to ribbon-cutting under one roof — a rare setup that most competitors can't match.
Their portfolio runs wide — academic, automotive, commercial and corporate, financial, industrial, life sciences and healthcare, recreational, and restaurant and retail work. Client relationships often stretch back decades, and repeat business is the norm rather than the exception. The culture is high-performing and collaborative, built around transparency, candor, and a genuine sense of urgency to get things right.
Our client is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join their team out of Burlington, MA. This is a strong opportunity for someone early in their project management career who wants hands-on exposure across a genuinely varied set of sectors and delivery types, working alongside a design team that most APMs never get this close to.
You'll support Project Managers across live design-build projects, getting exposure to the full delivery process — from early design coordination and preconstruction through procurement, subcontractor management, and closeout.
