The Role

Our client is looking for a talented Assistant Project Manager to join their project management team, supporting the delivery of luxury custom homes and high-end renovations across Boston, Cape Cod, and Rhode Island. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to grow their career within one of New England's premier residential builders — a firm where attention to detail is not just expected, it's the foundation of everything.

You'll work directly alongside experienced Project Managers, getting exposure to the full lifecycle of luxury residential builds — from early planning and trade coordination through to on-site management, client communication, and final delivery. The scale and complexity of the projects, combined with the firm's collaborative and client-first culture, make this one of the most rewarding APM roles available in the New England market.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting Project Managers across multiple luxury residential projects spanning Metro Boston, Cape Cod, and Rhode Island
Assisting with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination
Attending site visits and client meetings, taking ownership of follow-up actions and documentation
Managing RFIs, submittals, and project records throughout the build process
Coordinating with the firm's trusted network of trade partners to keep work on track and sequenced correctly
Helping maintain the meticulous quality standards the firm and its clients expect at every stage
Communicating clearly and proactively with clients, architects, interior designers, and landscape partners
Supporting the handover process and contributing to the client experience through to completion

What Our Client is Looking For

1–4 years of experience in a construction project management or site-based role — luxury residential experience is a strong advantage
A genuine passion for quality and craftsmanship — you notice details and take pride in the finished product
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple moving parts simultaneously
Excellent communication skills — you're clear, honest, and proactive with clients and trade partners alike
A collaborative mindset — you work well within a team and understand that great homes are built by great partnerships
Willingness to travel across the project footprint — Metro Boston, Cape Cod, and Rhode Island
Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend or similar) is a plus
A degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field preferred
