A well-established general contractor is looking for an Estimator to join their preconstruction team in Midtown Manhattan. Founded in the late 2000s, they've built a tight, senior-led practice around corporate interiors and commercial buildouts for financial services, technology, legal, media and luxury retail clients across the city — the kind of work where the client relationship outlasts any single project.

What You'll Be Doing
Leading full-scope estimates for corporate interior and commercial buildout projects across Manhattan
Running subcontractor bid packages from ITB through leveling and award
Developing detailed scopes, quantity takeoffs and budget narratives for fast-moving, high-finish projects
Partnering directly with brokers, architects and building ownership during preconstruction
Supporting value engineering and constructability input on tight commercial-lease timelines
Handing off clean, defensible budgets to the PM team at the start of construction
What Gets You Through the Door
5+ years of estimating experience with a commercial interiors or corporate buildout GC in NYC
Comfortable estimating in occupied and part-occupied buildings, on compressed lease-driven schedules
Strong takeoff and bid leveling skills — you can build a number and defend it in the room
Confident presenting directly to clients, brokers and building management, not just internally
Proficiency in Procore, On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam or similar estimating software
Degree in Construction Management, Architecture or a related field preferred, not required with the right track record
