The Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team in Boston. You'll take ownership of projects from preconstruction through to final handoff, leading cross-functional teams, managing client relationships, and making sure every project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the standard their clients have come to expect.
This isn't a role for someone who wants to manage from behind a desk. You'll be hands-on, collaborative, and deeply involved in the detail — from early-stage planning and BIM coordination through to quality oversight and close-out.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading the full lifecycle of construction projects across sectors including Academic, Life Sciences, Corporate Commercial, Residential, and Senior Living
Managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractor relationships across multiple workstreams
Serving as the primary point of contact for end clients — building trust, managing expectations, and delivering certainty
Working closely with preconstruction, MEP-FP, and coordination teams to resolve challenges before they reach the field
Driving quality and safety standards across projects in line with company processes and programmes
Mentoring and supporting junior team members including Assistant Project Managers
What Our Client is Looking For
Proven experience as a Project Manager within a general contractor or construction manager
Strong understanding of preconstruction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor management
Excellent client-facing skills — you communicate clearly, manage relationships well, and know how to deliver difficult news constructively
Familiarity with BIM coordination and MEP-FP systems is a strong advantage
A collaborative mindset — you work well with people, share knowledge freely, and take pride in the team's success as much as your own
Construction or Engineering related degree qualification preferred
OSHA certification and relevant industry qualifications preferred
