Our client is a full-service commercial construction company that has been building across the New England region for over four decades. Their work spans preconstruction planning, general contracting, design-build and special projects, with a portfolio concentrated in retail, restaurant, corporate and commercial fit-out work — including complex renovations of occupied spaces where minimal disruption to an operating business is critical.
What sets this company apart is longevity, both in the client relationships they've built over the years and in the people who work there. Current leadership came up through the business itself — many starting out as estimators or Project Managers before moving into senior positions — and that internal career path is still very much alive today. This is a business that promotes from within and genuinely invests in developing the people who join it.
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to take ownership of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through to closeout. You'll lead site teams, manage subcontractor and client relationships, and be the person accountable for keeping projects on programme and on budget.
This is a role for someone who wants real ownership rather than a rubber stamp on someone else's decisions. You'll be trusted to run your own projects, mentor junior PMs coming up behind you, and have a direct line to leadership rather than layers of bureaucracy between you and the people making decisions.
